At Oaklands Care Home, our aim is to ensure that our residents live comfortable, happy and fulfilled lives within a friendly and caring atmosphere. Beautiful Facilities
Oaklands is a residential care home that offers a range of double and single en-suite rooms, able to accommodate up to 31 people in a safe, pleasant and welcoming homely environment. In addition to the high-quality care we provide to our residents, we also provide a range of activities to keep our residents active, stimulated and happy. The Home benefits from a spacious garden area, in close proximity to the local school and local church, where residents may enjoy picnics during the summer and watching fireworks and hot chocolate, during our annual bonfire night.

Oaklands is situated in the heart of Waterlooville and is well placed within close proximity to all local amenities. These include the various shops, doctor’s surgeries, hospital, pharmacies, supermarkets and parks. Southsea Beach, Farlington Marsh and the local nature reserve are but a 10-minute drive from the Home, perfect for a day out when the weather permits.

Hospitality
Oaklands Care Home has a reputation amongst Residents and their relatives alike for providing fine food and a welcoming atmosphere in a place you can call home. We offer an everchanging seasonal menu that residents look forward to each quarter. This includes anything from a traditional English trifle in the summertime to warm custard and cakes for the frosty winter evenings.
Activities
Stimulating activities are at the heart of the service we provide. Our Care Staff design a schedule of activities on a monthly basis to entertain and energize our Residents. With help from specialist service providers and even the local schoolchildren, we make sure that our Residents time with us is as enjoyable as it is beneficial.

What Do Our Clients Say About Us?
The care staff understand my mum very well, are both sympathetic and responsive to her support needs, treating her with dignity and care at all times. Oaklands home itself is always bright and clean, the food is of an excellent standard and my mum has been very happy in the 3 years she has been here. Communication is also very good indeed and the staff ring me personally if there is anything they think I need to know. Their overall service standard is excellent. I have no complaints.
My dad settled very quickly into Oaklands and I believe this was down to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. He enjoys the meals and the dining room and lounge are of a nice size, not cramped and not too big that it is like a hospital. The fact that it is a converted house is a positive as it is more like home for the residents.
